fantastic locationblackout shadesinitial confusionlacking polish
This hotel's location is fantastic! I could quickly walk to the National Gallery and Trafalgar Square. The room had blackout shades , which was so useful for sleep.
The cafe felt detached from the hotel, this created initial confusion upon arrival. I also observed that the staff , while friendly , sometimes lacked polish.

underwhelming stay despite good location
small shower roompoor temperature control
the room i was assigned felt smaller than advertised , particularly the shower room. i also found the temperature control to be quite poor . it was either too hot or too cold , never just right. it certainly detracted from the overall experience.

the location was superb, right by trafalgar square and close to many attractions. my room included complimentary drinks and snacks which was a lovely touch. the staff were friendly and always available to help with any requests. the cleanliness of the rooms and public areas was great.
i found the coffee shop area near reception could get a little crowded sometimes.

the beautiful double room featured modern decor. a mini-bar stocked with free beverages was provided. the bathroom included toiletries. there was also a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities.
